Inspirational and exciting drawing

Since 2022, I have provided art and illustration workshops for children.
​
These workshops have included whole-school assemblies to talk about art, illustration and a life in cartoons; class-by-class workshops (ranging from Reception to Year 6) drawing fun characters, animals, aliens and more with the children, along with top art tips and fun group collaborations.

I have run multi-day workshop events during Primary School Art Weeks and full day workshops on World Book Day, during Primary School Well-Being Weeks, along with After School Art Clubs.
​
Fees range from £350 for a full day of workshops and assemblies, £240 for a half day and £50 per hour for online workshops or shorter sessions.

Martin from Toast Illustration visited our school during our Well-Being Week. We were lucky to have Martin spend the whole day with us where he worked with children from Reception to Year 6.
Martin encouraged the children to draw step-by-step with clear instructions and a positive/fun attitude. He was always there to help children who needed some support and offered a lot of praise to the wonderful pieces produced. The children were thrilled with their drawings and enjoyed taking them home.
Our staff all commented on how lovely it was to see the children so excited about their work! All of the workshops were engaging and appropriate for our year groups. The children were very quick to nominate Martin’s workshops as their favourite activity from the week.

Toast Illustration was an all-time favourite for our school and we would not hesitate to have him visit us again. Thank you so much, Martin!

Martin joined 1st Ambleside Brownies and 1st Hawkshead Brownies while they took park in their ‘Space Explorers’ themed Pack Holiday in Hawkshead. They wanted to draw aliens, so Toast Illustration beamed into launch control to assist. Not only were their extraterrestrial drawings excellent, but the girls have also said they would really love to take part in another illustration session to see what other creations they can come up with. Martin taught them some handy tips to bring their characters to life and gave the girls confidence in their drawing skills. It was such an engaging and interactive session, getting the children to express themselves, laugh, and draw along with a professional illustrator.
